It's rare when I play GT without using my G25, but there are the few occasions when I just can't haul out my wheel into the living room. I do hate using the standard PS3 controller, because my hands begin to cramp, it's really not the most ergonomically pleasing controller to play GT with I feel. I just saw an add for this though:

Not sure if it's new or what, but I was just wondering if anybody has used it and if it's worth getting.

I wouldn't recommend third party controllers for consoles when talking about standard joysticks (i.e. not flying joysticks, steering wheels, guitar controllers, etc.). Most of my experiences have been bad. Just my opinion. I haven't used that one.

This, I have used a fair amount of aftermarket controllers(Only bought one though) and only one has been good(A Pelican one for the PS2 that had fans in it, was great for GT4 enduro's.). They are typically made of extremely cheap materials which means they break easily.

I've got Gioteck Real Triggers on both my Sony Dualshock controllers and find they make a big improvement if I'm not using my DFGT. The material looks and feels identical to the shoulder buttons which is what I use for gas and brake.

Don't buy that controller, it sucks so bad. 👎

I brought one because I kind of liked the idea of d-pad mounted steering axis - again, stay away.

Third party controllers can be good, might be down to the manufacturer though. I've had a Logitech Cordless Action for four and a half years now and even though I didn't expect it to be capable of such a feat it has beaten or matched the DS2 in every area, including rumble strength. Batteries literally last years but then again I do most of my gaming with a wheel and only use the pad for menus.

Off-topic I know but third party doesn't automatically equal rubbish. However, I have very little good to say about Thrustmaster controllers (and not so little bad) so in this case it might equal just that...
