You always here people comparing the 2 but who is king?
kinda of like boxing and mma who's best in which scenario?
Personally I've always liked the look of a lambo better, but in the real word I hear there just to hard to live with and get sold before you refill the tank. so if you had $500,000 and could buy only one what you would get and why?

Really you wouldn't buy one if someone walked up gave you 500k and a ride to the show rooms? You would just hand the $ back and say no thanks I'm good! And don't say I'd just buy one and sell it for a Porsche. Then why bother posting?

The Murcielago SV was awesome and the Aventador looks beast and now there is a Aventador J!

But Ferrari's 458 Italia is also great too!

Hmm, I'm not sure about this one. Today, I think I would rather have a Lamborghini, due to their better styling and more soulful character (my opinion, you're entitled to yours). However, if we include past vehicles, I would choose Ferrari. Despite the fact that Lamborghini built the epic Miura, Ferrari has the F40, widely regarded as the best supercar ever made, and also has stunningly beautiful cars from the 50s and 60s.

I'd go for Ferrari any day. I can't stand the look of any of the new Lamborghinis. I'd probably get a 430 Scuderia since I think that is a really beautiful car.

Whatever's most expensive. Then sell it.

Give me a Mazda MX5 or RX8. If I really wanted something for the track though, Radical or Catarham. Infinitely better.

You took the words out of my mouth. I love the Diablo SV too.

I like Ferrari better because of their race history, Ferrari has made so many iconic cars over the years. On and off the track. Not saying Lamborghini hasn't but Ferrari just has so many.

I like both of their current range, seen inside and out of both the Aventador and the 458, and both are very cool in their own way. But nothing can top cars like the the F40 in my opinion.

Neither IMO.

This.

I don't really see how these two Manufacturers compare these days.

Ferrari 458 is preferred over the Gallardo, but I'd prefer the Aventador over any other Ferrari currently on sale.

Which is why my answer is neither too.

Oh my God the italia that is top ten best looking cars I've ever seen! Got to see one up close about 7 months ago at a car show with my grandfather. I sat there for almost a hr just drooling! some Ferrari's you cant even take home you spend 1million dollars on a car and they hold on to it and drop it off at the track for you! I cant remember the name off the top of my head but it has more power than the enzo and it's lighter! I think it did the nurb ring in like 6 minutes oh it's the fxx 790HP with a top speed of 243mph! Now that's a track car Mr I'd sell it for a Ariel! And I'm talking thru the years and I'm really interested in why you would instead of what one

I think you're thinking of the FXX. Although many regard the Italia as very beautiful, and I respect this opinion, I also have seen one in real life and feel that the front opening, headlamp shape, and vents around the headlamps are not attractive at all. I appreciate the science behind the shape, but I wish Pininfarina would have done it differently. Also, you should try using this thing called grammar. It helps others understand you.

I'm more of a Ferrari man, its personal preference in the same way that choosing a female partner is personal preference.

Yea the fxx I edited it in. as soon as I hit send I remembered. I KNOW MY GRAMMAR SUCKS! I APOLOGIZE BEEN OUT IF SCHOOL FOR WAY TO LONG AND TEXTING HAS DESTROYED MY SPELLING AS WELL! but I didn't know this was English class I got a C+ so at least I passed ; )

This is like Ford vs Chevy. (We all know Ford wins =P)

Ferrari F40 LM/Competizione or the F50 LM. Simply epic cars.

Also, Ferrari and Lamborghini are simply two different types of companies, with one having a history in motorsports and the other one not so much. So really, if it doesn't come down to ones personal taste, than it will come down (almost consistently) to whether or not the person is a fan of racing.

As much as I like Lamborghinis, reading about the Gallardo and how terrible it is as an everyday car & the Murci being an even bigger handful with its gigantic proportions, is just unappealing.

On the other side, the 458 is stunning, but I hate the interior, too many different things going on the dashboard and awful looking steering wheel with more buttons and dials than one could count.

Maybe once the Sesto Elemento goes into production I'll make up my mind :sly:

For $500k USD?

I bet I could get a tidy Miura for that...

I'm not sure you can really do better than this:

I really miss the days when supercars came with big, fat 60+ section tires. I really hate low profile rubber with huge rims.

The LP400 comes close to the Miura's beauty, but in a infinitely more masculine way:

The only other Lamborghini that can approach these two is the first generation Murcielago, in my eyes. The Diablo was always a bit soft, and the Aventador is just too busy looking. Miura > Countach > Murcie > the rest.

I don't think Ferrari has ever made a car with as stunning styling as the Miura and Countach. The F40 is quite beautiful, but in a more offhand way. The Enzo is stunning, but again, stunning in a more engineering sense. Ferrari's best looking car is, to me, the 250TR of the 1950s. 250 GTO is also gorgeous. 330 GTC is nice too. But again, none of them compare to the Countach nor Miura. And for this kind of money, it's more about how it looks than how it drives. To me at least.

Too old for me. If I'm gonna spend that much money, I was a modern brand new car. Now if I had a collection going for me, that Muira would be near the top of my list.:)

$500,000 would be far better used on buying a dozen or half dozen cars that are each far more interesting, fast, and pretty.

I'm on Team "buy it and sell it immediately."

I know there quite different but they do go hand in hand like.peanut butter and jelly
