1) I can't see the tire ware meter. I have got the racing tires (cheapest ones).

2) I have won a car in the begineers league, but I needed money and I sold it. Can I still get another one?

3) I would like to tune my car, but all the tuning options are disabled!!

4) I have a car for which I can't buy TURBO, why is this?

I hope you can help me.
Thanks a lot in advance.
Kuba.

1) If you're in the beginner mode, there is no tire wear.

2) If it was a series win, you can re-win it. If it was an event (3 races) no, you can't

3) You need to buy the upgrades before you can tune them. For instance, you need to purchase a suspension, before you can lower the car.

4) Thats a Normally Aspirated engine. If you can't buy a turbo, you can buy an NA stage One Upgrade.

A beginner to GT3?? Erm... does the launch of GT4 the other day not make starting GT3 now a little pointless??

Okay if you havent got GT4 (i havent) fair enough, but why spend all your time on an old one, when you can have the new, improved version.

May I suggest looking in the "All your questions answered" thread?

1. You only see it during long distance races, 10-99 laps.

2. Depends what it is, a cup race then no, a championship yes.

3. You have to buy parts to tune with.

4. Simple there are 2 types of cars Natrually Asprinted (N/A) and Turbo, N/A can only have N/A tune ups not Turbo tune ups, Turbos get turbo tune ups and not N/A tune ups.

Might he not have the money to buy GT4 and bought GT3 instead? Still he could have saved up for GT4.

There's one supercharged as well...

Most naturally aspirated cars can be turbocharged in GT3. Due to engine bay constraints, some cannot be, however.

Thanks a lot for the replys. I'm now on amateour leage (seccond one) and I still don't see the tire meter!!??
Also why can't I see a bar of accel and brake, like on some movies from gt3?
If I still begin a game from a seccond memory card, can I trade the cars I have missed from the cup races?
Which parts apart from suspension exacly do I need to fully be able to tune my car, and how much do they cost all together?

I started GT3 because I got it for free from a firend who bought GT4. I don't have money for GT4 yet.....

The tire wear meter doesn't kick in until some of the longer races in Amateur. Rest assured, when it matters, it'll be there.

The Accell and Brake meters in GT3 are only there when viewing a replay. There is no way to turn either on while racing.

Yes, you can start a new game on the second memory card and trade the cars between games. Keep in mind, it's not a "trade" but rather purchasing an exact copy of the car (including all upgrades) for the cost of a brand new car. So keep enough cash on hand.

For tuning, you need the corresponding upgrade. If you wish to adjust the brakes, you need to purchase the brake balancer. If you wish to adjust the suspension, you need to purchase a supsension. If you wish to adjust the transmission, you need to purchase the racing suspension. It's not that hard, experiment with it a bit. If you purchase an upgrade and it doesn't function the way you want, reload your game and purchase a different one. Don't bother with the low cost upgrades, just buy the racing upgrades.

The cost varies per car. Your usually in the range of 170,000credits not including tires.

Im guessing that should read "purchase the full-racing transmission".

If you have missed out on the cup cars starting a new game on a 2nd memory card is a great idea. I did it to get the colours I wanted (e.g. Silver Vanquish - took 10 attempts/100 laps, but worth it :sly:)

Enjoy GT3 - it'll do you in good stead for when GT4 finally comes along. I'm still playing it and GT4P (still no GT4, and my friends have it :banghead:)

English.

Please try again in English, my good man. Punctuation, Spelling, that sort of thing.

I can't even understand what you're asking for. Hell, I don't even think you've got the right thread.

Change the gear ratio so that you have a higher top speed, however it will take longer to get to the top speed.
