does anyone else have this game? :confused:

its the remake of Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy IV for PSOne. I bought it the other day because the first (and still best IMO) RPG I played was Chrono Trigger. Anyway, when I put it in it does the standard "Sony Computer Entertainment" logo and then the screen goes red and says "Please insert a Playstation format disc". :reallyodd

if i start it with the cover open and then wait til it goes to the options mode it'll start fine, its just annoying. Does anyone else have this game and prob?
 
I managed to pick up a pirate copy of that, yes yes I know but it was never released over here and I did look for a legit copy first. It worked on my old PSX fine, although I cant find it anywhere (most likely keeno has it). I bought the euro FF chronicles and it has FF4 and FF5 instead of chrono trigger.

Im still playing through FF6/3 goddamnit!
 
I remember reading that the first release CDs had defects on them. You could return the one you have now and find a newer version of the game.
 
Did they ever release just chrono trigger on its own?
Because when I popped to the shops and bought the "european edition" chronicles (a legit one) it had FF5 and FF4. I really do want my chrono trigger back.
 
I have Chrono Trigger on SNES too. I got it for like $21 right before Babbages jacked the price of it up to $50. hehe :D

I just got the remake cuz I wanted to :P
