I just installed Firefox 1.04 again and whenever I go to a page that has an embedded video that should play via WMP, it says missing plugin. I click on it to get the plug-in and it says "Unknown Plug-in" and it doesn't install anything. I have WMP10 installed. This never was a problem with older versions of Firefox...

I can't help you there. You're just going to have to use another site to get your daily pr0n fix.

I've got the same setup, and I only have problems with embedded quicktime, mainly 'cos I don't have quicktime.

What page doesn't work (keep it clean mind) and I'll check it and see if it works here.

I didn't let it load completely (56k sucks) but It appeared to be working. I had similar problems with the shockwave plugin. It would never install. I think it has worked since 1.03 or 1.04.

Edit: I forgot to mention this. There is a plugin that puts a "view in explorer" function in ff. Basically if a page isn't working in ff I can right click and select view in explorer either on the page itself or on the hyperlink. The page opens in explorer so I can be a bit lazy and not cut and past the URL.

But why can't I watch the videos in Firefox?? I could before! I don't want to use IE!!

This is really pissing my off. I've never had issues with firefox until now...
