So I am doing B Spec in the FGT on the last race of the cup.. cant remember the name of the track.. the rainy one. My driver has Racing: Rain tires on, yet each lap he wants to pit.. its getting annoying cancelling a pit every lap. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem?

Also another thing I found funny.. in the previous race at Nurburgring my driver decided to pit on lap 29/30 and get 4 liters of fuel(didnt pick up the ds3 and fix it in time). However, this isn't enough to finish two laps.. so he had to pit again on lap 30. I had to seriously lol though, because the rest of the field did the exact same thing. :sly:

Check your pit strategy and see if he's set to pit at a certain "strength" setting. Set the Strength to zero, and he should be fine. I did Suzuka (the rainy ones) with one set of tires, no problems.

checked that.. was at 90, changed it and he still wanted to pit.. so i said to hell with it lol
Let him pit.. he wanted intermediates instead of rain.. guess it helped cause he managed to win still.

It may also depend on how hard it's raining. If it's a pouring rain, then Racing: Rain tires would be appropriate. If it's a like sprinkle, however, your driver may feel that Racing: Intermediates are more appropriate.

Oh man, I wish I could actually talk to Bob sometimes...

"Why the 🤬 do you keep wanting to pit you 🤬 🤬 ?!?! I told you before that racing tires still get better 🤬 grip in the rain than rain tires yet you still insist on being an annoying 🤬 and wanting to 🤬 pit every 🤬 lap!!! I should just let you waste time in the pits, then spin out every 🤬 turn and lose the whole 🤬 race. That'll teach you."

lmao..

All the AI cars pitted after the first lap, there was a light sporadic shower on the first curve after the starting line then it faded out and the rest of Suzuki circuit was dry. I had fitted Race Intermediate tires, and all the AI cars must have as well or Race Rain, but after start of race, all AI want to pit and switch to Race Hard and so does your Bob. You have to cancel pit stop every lap to stop him from pitting, changing pit strategy options has no effect.
