RACECAR takes the pole for the Monaco Grand Prix, followed by Earth, ERacer and then Team GBR's danny12. The difference between 1st 2nd and 3rd in qualifying should be a recipe for a tight close race. Although it wouldn't be too wise to count danny12 out. As his familiarity with the car increases his speed has also increased. Look for everyone to have a chance at winning and finishing on the podium.

On another note the absense of Corsa Grigiona's The Internet was one of the major headlines of the weekend. After dominiating the USGP and qualifying for the German GP the Swede looked to dominate FGT and become the face of the series, but if he misses 2 events in a row, can he possibly claw his way back in contention for the championship in just the 4 remaining races?

If the Inernet keeps this pace up he will probably end up clinching the championship with 1 round to go. Can anyone come close to him?

The top 4 in the championship are seperated by a small margin, but does it matter if The Internet wins every week?

Now, this is my course. I just couldn't pit every lap at the Nurburgring because I couldn't get my rhythm back, But now that were here, I should be really strong here.

I'm not sure how fast I'll be here but in preseason testing this was my favorite track to drive in a Formula GT car. Just like the Nurburgring I like the track. IMO the track flows together so smoothly. Very good, historic track.

And if you are wondering why I don't have 10 second penalty for contact or forced pit for any race this season it's because these cars are very difficult to control, and I really don't want someone to be on the second to last lap to brush the wall and have their race ruint by a 10 second penalty or forced pit.

times sent... i'm not satisfied with my times, but at least i'm more comfortable with car as the season goes on....:)

OK results of qualifying have been posted in the first thread

I'm really proud of all the 4 drivers who took part in qualifying. All the times were close and danny12 is getting comfortable with what is easily the toughest car to drive in Gran Turismo 4.

Overall great showing by everyone 👍

Awesome. I was under the impression that the internet was gonna be very tough to beat, but I'm surprised he hasn't shown up.

I lost my controller in a dramatic drunk flatmate incident. I've got hold of another one that I think should suffice. Am I allowed to just race anyway?

Times sent very early this week so I can focus on trying to find a more suitable controller.

I really liked the car-track combo, especially since I'm back to running without TC. The car was very controllably twitchy and, aside from some oversteer on worn tyres, very easy to control, particularly under acceleration. I did an extra lap on each stint and managed to come out of the pits ahead of the backmarkers each time, which definitely gained me a lot on the clock.

"Wind Blows" hmmm, where is everybody? Is this already over?

Results are up

Sorry for the delay fellas

Congrats to the Internet for using his sublime skills in a grand prix car to crush us once again. lol
