FGT or Toyota 7?

which to buy? supposedly the boosted seasonal prize effect is going away soon but a toyota 7 is in my UCD right now, and i can nab it but it will wipe out my wallet.... from what i've been hearing the 7 is the way to go in the historical cup for bob and it's not half bad in like the wind as well....

right now i'm leaning toward the 7....

thoughts?
 
FGT is in the online dealership 24/7, id honestly grab the 7
 
You can win the Toyota 7 by winning B-Spec Like the Wind. I'd get the FGT if you're a high enough level for it.
 
Where did you read about a change to seasonal events?
 
Yeah, I'd go with the FGT. If you don't have another suitable car for the Historic Racing Cup, just skip over it and come back to it after you get the Toyota 7 from Like The Wind in B-spec (which you can beat with the FGT :)).

I don't think he meant the seasonal events. He said "seasonal prize effect", by which I think he means that we presently get more credits from winning a race/event than we normally would. I think this kicked in some time back in December and was to run through January, but I can't swear to that.

The Toyota 7 can be obtained by getting gold on both events in Like the Wind B-Spec Extreme Hall, like what freight48 said.

The FGT isn't a prize car anywhere right now, & can only be obtained in the UCD/OCD. The OCD had the car for like a month, so you can definitely buy it from there. Unfortunately, it costs about 5,000,000 Credits, but It is required for the FGT Championship in the Extreme Hall & can be a good grinding car -- fast, too. Make sure you grind quickly now because the OCD updates every Thursday night (not sure if it's true, but it changed after last Thursday), & you never know if the car will be there or not.
 
FGT. Then raise your Bob level and use said FGT to win the Toyota 7.

There, you have both :D.

For fun/online or to grind/win FGT championship? Because Escudo is a nice car, but it kinda useless in terms of offline play, it's not the fastest on the oval, so it's bad for grinding, it can't be used in special rally events as well.
But if you just love to play online or to drive cars and don't care about money/exp offline and like that car.. get Escudo, FGT is boring.
 
to be honest, i think both cars have very similar handling touch. with full throttle and a slow entrance speed the car will oversteer towards the end of a high speed corner. and the toyota 7 doesnt perform well in those mid-speed consecutive s-corners in suzuka. its just the FGT felt a lot sharper for being a formula car. due to the fact that i dont have enough funds to buy a wheel set, im not a good formula handler...i cant control the throttle well enough so i just traded my toyota 7 to a 2D. am i the only one who felt that?
 
The 7 isn't even that good...its slow and sloppy. A 2D nearly beat it. A freaking 2D!
 
I do not know you in real life... so if you like:

Functionability- The Forumula GT is the way to go. It beats the Toyota 7 in all four major categories... Weight, Torque, Horsepower, and Cornering.

Showmanship- The Toyota 7 is the way to go. This is becuase you see the Formula GT in the online dealership and even in used cars way more frequently than you see that old, classic Toyota 7.


The choice is yours.
