Pre - Qualifying is to see who will race in LOBBY A
**IMPORTANT: Pre - Qualifying will have ABS: PROHIBITED and Traction Control: Prohibited***
All Members who are not in Top 10 in "Championship Standings" must do Pre - Qualifying. That includes Gold, Silver, Bronze, and New members.
Pre - Qualifiers open day after last race on Sunday and close on Friday before next race.
You have up to 3 tries to qualify for lobby A.
You only need to do one try.
If you do not complete atleast one Pre - Qualifying Time Trial then you race in LOBBY B

Where to do Time Trial Pre - Qualifying?
- Go to Club Room ID: 1054479 (GT6 Community)(In the game)
- Join Club
- Go to Club Page
- Click on "Events"
- Sign-Up to the "Open" Event
- Create a Room in the Event
- Practice and Start Time Trial.
- Do Trial by yourself or with others.
- Finish Trial and that is it.
- Your Time Trial will post up Automatically.

Day of Race Rules
2 lobbies (A and B) will be opened for the race. Drivers are expected to join the lobby they must race in. They can ask for this information or find it in post 2.
Before the event starts, there will be a mandatory 1 lap practice start. This allows drivers to practice the start of a race/turn 1 and check connection settings.
There will be a 10 minute qualifying session before the race. Drivers may start on whichever compound they choose, and changing compound during qualifying will be allowed.
The race will last one hour, and a compound change is mandatory. Drivers are asked to save the race replay afterwards.
Tracks that support wet weather may use that function. The weather will be set to the setting the track shows in real life and will be announced 2 weeks before the race event to allow drivers time to practice.

Point System
Lobby A and Lobby B results will be merged. Points will be awarded in the following order;
Team points will be made of both drivers combined. Teams must be made up of 2 drivers from the same class.
Drivers who DNF will be given full points for the last available place.
2 drop scores may be taken from any round.

Penalties and Other Stuff
If drivers do not PM Complaints, Stewards will NOT REVIEW.

You have 24 hours after Race has Finished.
The steward panel will then review the decision and come to a decision, handing out penalties or reprimands if required.
Licence Points
If you receive the following points on your licence, you will receive the following:
3 Points - Start at the back of grid next race.
4 Points - Drive through penalty at the next race
5 Points - 25 point championship reduction
6 Points - Race Ban
Drivers may be penalized for both on and off track behaviour.
All rules are there for a reason. All drivers, including the host, do not receive special credit. Please read all rules before signing up. I was not aware of that rule is not a valid excuse.
Drivers who are AWOL will receive a warning, after this a reprimand. All drivers are expected to notify the host before the race whether they can race or not.
Drivers may run any livery car they wish.
Weaving in a straight line and divebombing is strictly forbidden. Please drive as cleanly as possible and with respect - The race is not won in the first corner.
Blue flag rule - Drivers who are about to be lapped may ghost their car if they wish, however all drivers are expected to allow the leaders through easily.
Track limits are defined by the white line. Drivers must keep 4 wheels inside the white line at all times. The kerb only (not astro/tarmac) will count as an extension of the white line, but your wheels must not pass on the other side of the kerb. If you go off track, lift off so you do not gain an advantage. Drivers who continually abuse track limits will be penalised.
If a driver is unable to make an event, it is very important they notify the host ASAP or they may receive a penalty.
Drivers must not chat during the race or enter another race lobby after their race has concluded.

@swiftsmith - failure to obey the blue flag rule and dangerous driving due to lack of car control - 2 penalty points and you have been put on probation.
@AJHG1000 - No penalty but please be more careful and respectful when a car is lapping you in future
@DestenDeath2 - hitting another driver twice at the rear - 1 penalty point - as was said in the lobby, regardless of the car in front speed, it is the car behind's responsibility not to crash.
@xife10 @Weider - separate incidents but the same situation - causing an accident while entering pits - 1 penalty point - please turn on blind spot indicators and be more alert in future.
@SWR_WeiTN - multiple incidents lap 1 - 1 penalty point - please be more careful when racing other cars and do not hit another car/push them wide as this could cause further crashes.

Can Everyone Please note the following rule changes;
- Pre-Qualifying - There will now only be 1 Pre-Q session. Drivers will be allowed 2 attempts at qualifying - the 5 fastest drivers will race in LOBBY A.
- Damage - Damage will now be set to LIGHT. This is for drivers whos races are being ruined by poor driving standards. A driver that causes an accident will be awarded a time penalty after the race.
- Text chat - Texting and messaging during the races is banned. If a driver has a problem with another driver they must wait until after the race. The only people allowed to message is the Race Director to give important instructions. However drivers may tell another driver if they are lagging.
-Entering new lobbies - After your race finishes, do not enter the other lobby. This could, and did, cause connection problems. Please watch the stream and do not enter the other race lobby. If you disconnect from your race, please do not rejoin as this could cause connection problems.
Regarding how Round 1 went I am very happy. A few incidents but for a round 1 of FGT it was pretty good. However, can everyone be a bit more careful at the race start. Remember to give lots of room and do not divebomb people. It is important that everyone is respectful. The race is not won on the first lap so don't ruin yours or someone else's.
If a driver in front of you is slower, it is still your responsibility not to hit them. Remember you need to lift off and brake earlier. If you have to follow them and be held up for 5 laps then it doesn't matter, that is racing, so be careful.
Also, can people please turn on blind spot indicators as this will help, and if you are going into the pits, make it obvious to everyone by positioning your car correctly rather than turning into someone.
If someone new wants to join, please try and tell me in advance, rather than right before the race starts. A lot of preparation and organising has gone into this. People had plenty of time to sign up/invite others so please make sure you tell me with plenty of time to spare.
But overall a good start to the season. I will provide my own review later, but to make the highlights and reviews easier can everyone please fill out this form - highlights will most likely be available after the next event as it takes awhile due to the number of people racing, but if everyone gives me their highlights (crashes/battles etc) it will be much easier.
