I was wondering if anybody would be interested in helping me devise some rules to do this. I think it'd be pretty cool. Here's what i got so far. Any race car in the game thats under FIA GT class rules can be entered no matter what the class name( i.e DTM, Super GT, FIA GT1, GT2, SuperTouring). HP limit: GT1 class 590HP. GT2 class 470HP. My PSN screen name is rollingzoku92.

Sounds like a great idea! I'm in! 👍

Going to stay tuned to this thread and see where it goes..

Sounds good, I've thought about this before. But why not have a PP limit for all cars? If you have both GT1 and GT2 in the same race, how can you enforce their respective regulations in the same lobby? I think GT2-class cars should be allowed to up their spec to GT1, then bring GT1, DTM, Super GT and also Gran Turismo LM touring cars to the same performance level through a PP limit.

You could call it something like GT All-Comers, or Interseries GT...

yeah thats a good idea designate. We can switch back and forth between the classes regs and pp restrict the the cars to conform. Ill make sure to have the room up on those days jav once we get going. If yall want send me a friend request.

Cool, I have a '99 Pennzoil Skyline JGTC I want to run. A GT500 series wouldn't let me in because they're hung up on premium cars (why...?). I think 600 PP is reasonable, or 450-500bhp / 1250kg. Also, how do you feel about RM road cars, or non-RMs modified to race spec? Eg. Ferrari 430/458, RUF RGT, Spyker, etc.

I have no problems with RMs. For example, the RM Zr1 is a GT2 car and the Z06 is a GT1. For the ferraris and others your more than welcome to run those. They lack diffusers and front valances so they wont handle as well but they're FIA GT cars so bring'em!

Scary, there is a DTM league that I can't join due to its' times, so have been thinking (with a little work attached), at starting my own, and as my ideas have progressed I have considered and extended DTM (into FIA GT) which could include an historic DTM / current DTM / D1 car race / BTCC / ETCC WTCC etc etc.

I'm up for assisting in the set up - time permitting though.

I'm not sure it's suitable to lump Super GT in with GT2, since they are usually much faster cars. Perhaps SGT and DTM could form a 'Special' class.

Also, I think the RUF CTR2 could be a GT1 car, and the RGT GT2. Aston DB9 could be either, with Jag XKR GT2. Ferrari 458 is now GT2 also.

You have a point. But if we do some testing im pretty sure it wont be such a huge gap in perfromance. Also I forgot abouit those cars you mentioned, they will be added to the list along with with rules tonite.

Another thing, should we allow no limit on tyres? Or stick to the more challenging racing hards?

I propose we try out a regulation of 600PP. This sounds achievable for all the different classes involved. If you want to have power and weight limits instead, perhaps 550/600bhp and 1300kg, so the heavier orig-stock GT cars (eg. XKR, DB9) aren't too disadvantaged.

Also, nostuner, what time zone are you in? In any case, I should be online in about an hour's time.
