FIA GT1 2012 Discussion Tread

I'm not sure if someone started this tread, but here goes nothing!

Now that we are in mainstream racing off-season speedtv the American version is airing the FIA GT1 season. These cars are beastly on track and I'm having a good time watching them. Are there any others out there keeping up with this series?

Unfortunately there was never enough discussion about this one individual series (epsecially considering it's now defunct) to really warrant it's own thread (trust me, I tried with the 2011 season). I do have a combined GT racing thread though - here.

FIA GT1, FIA GT3, Blancpain Endurance Series, and all the national series are all covered in that thread.
