Disclaimer: No methods for hybriding will be discussed in this thread by me, please don't post any yourselves, it's against GTP, thanks.

Hi all,

I want to make a Fiat 695 "Tributo Ferrari", using Hybrid methods, which I'm already aware of, my question goes to this;

Could you please help me find a car with the donor engine as close as possible to the engine in this car.

The main car will be a Fiat 500 1.2 8v Lounge SS '08
http://www.mygranturismo.net/car_sheet.php?id=195

Required:
~1400cc engine, preferably turbo charged as standard
180bhp (or near enough), also as standard

Would be nice:
230NM of torque, or very close
Paint codes(?) White with red stripes

I just need the engine really, the chassis modifications, basically lowering, maybe stiffening, can be done through standard means
Brakes, I'll do via an increasing of Brake Force...

I've already modified the standard 1.2 to have a ridiculous 600bhp, it's way too much, I just want to have a nice baseline, and 180bhp seems about right.

Obviously, as I know how to make this car possible (I've turbocharged an M3 using an F40 as a base), I could share it on my account and give it to others to use with the borrow glitch, ect.

Any other suggestions would be great.

That's not a bad option.

Volkswagen Lupo has 125bhp, so we're a little bit close, but still shy 55bhp. I also don't think the Lupo is turbocharged?

No it isn't, but it was the first 1400cc engine that came to mind. :p

I suspect if you add some parts the power and torque could be pretty close.

If you don't mind it being a bit off the '1.4' spec, the 1.8 from the Seat Ibiza is another option you could consider. And it already has nigh-on 180hp to start with.

Mini Cooper or Pug 207, nothing else is really close enough. I appreciate both are 1600 engines, but I don't think you'll find a 1400 with that high an output...
