It occured to me that no1 mentions the fiat turbo coupe when talking about the FF pro races. So I thought I might giv it a go yesterday.

Fiat turbo coupe: t2 tires, race flywheel, semi-race suspension, chip, engine balance, race exhaust. @ 237 hp (no oil change).

Does anyone think this car sounds like a tractor? I certainly pulls like one!

suspension: lowered 2nd from botom, dampening 7 f/r, camber f:2 r:1, stabilisers 3 f/r

10 laps of cote. fought my way thru the trafic after starting last for 7 laps. the spoon civic had a 21 sec lead on me at the time, but i slowly pulled him in to 14 secs by the last lap where he pitted (as i knew he would), which gave me just enough time to pass him while he was pitting (he was coming out on fresh tires as i passed). my rear tires were only just starting to turn green and fronts just turning yellow, this car is very easy on tires. All i had to do was keep him at bay (no easy task) for the remainder of the lap to win.

was nt easy but I did it.

this car doesnt look too bad, and I think is over looked by too many ppl.

I am now PROUDLY keeping it in my garage. :D

:D Thanx ving ,
Have never even considered that ride, will have to give it a try. Nice post BTW, thought of doing a Write-UP???...UB57
:D

The Fiat Coupe has a wonderful engine. It pulls with tremendous torque. Yet it doesnt spend alot of time with the tires spinning because it has fat tires and very good grip. I love the sound of the engine.

I know its an Inline 5 Cyl Turbo, how big is the engine? around 2.4L.

This car also handles very nicely.

yueah 12sec. but no1 bothers with it in the FF pro race... or any other race for that matter..

whys thaty>?

1996cc, same as the old 4 cyl 16V Turbo version.

Not wanting to seem picky AT, but according to the Knowledge in the back of evo, it's actually 1998cc, just though I'd point that out.

*mr_p looks smug* ;):D

Just to be reeeeeeeeeaaaally picky, I've just checked a few FIAT tech sites and...

....it's 1995 cc! :odd:

*That's neither of us looking smug*

No way. It's always been a 2.0 (1995cc ;) ). It originally came as a 4 cylinder 16V, then a 4 cylinder 16V Turbo, then later became a 5 cylinder 20V & Turbo - still 1995cc.

whos tha man then?? ;)

hey that'd be me! :p

right click the "pic" and go to properties to find the addy of the pic. then copy n' paste the addy in ur addy bar....

but i can save you time by telling you that it look the same as the one in gt3 and the same as the 2.0

I've also used the Fiat for the Seattle enduro. Nice way to put some miles on the clock. Think its way too funny to watch a little 2-litre FF car sticking it to the big V8 Yank Tanks. Set it up with some Super slicks and watch it go! Can't remember my settings for it, maybe I'll give it another go on my new memory card and put them up here. Did it in a stock Corvette Grand Sport with Super slicks last time just to keep in the US spirit of the championship, but it was way too easy! :)

Plus the Fiat Coupe is an unusual looking but gorgeous car!
