Fictional LM race cars/touring cars

There are a lot of fictional LM race cars/touring cars in game. But are they actually based on any motorsport regulations or PD just want to make a racing version for a specific car?
The only two LM race cars I can recognise are:
Corvette Z06 LM Race Car-It is clearly based on C6.R, which is a GT2.
Corvette ZR1 LM Race Car-C6.R GT1?

I suppose it's the second answer. PD just made it's self racing specs for some cars they felt like doing it. But yes,some of them may be based on real specs.

The Z06 LM Race Car by Corvette is based into a GT1 car, while the ZR1 LM Race Car is based into a GT2 car.

Even though the Z06 LM is less powerful than the ZR1 LM. Both are essentially based upon the P&M GT2/GTE C6 Corvette.

Let's say that the both Corvettes would be GTE cars too.

The Z06 would be GTE-Am while the ZR1 would be GTE-Pro.

Going off of the Ford GT LM Spec II Testcar, yeah it's like modern day Group 4. In reality, it'd be like Sp.8 at the Nurburgring 24hr or something like the test bed for a GTE car.
