I cannot believe nobody has done a thread for this: one of the best selling games of 2008, and the best football game I have played, and nobody has taken any notice. Wow.

So, FIFA09 is a brilliant game of football, and before you ask, I own both and can say this is better than PES2009.

There is a new DLC pack avaliable for the PlayStation Store called Ultimate Team. It's a card game and you can buy and sell cards which help you expand your team. The pack has a trial, and then you can buy the full thing if you like it. It comes with trophies, too.

I have played both myself, my friends have them I'm not a big football game lover at all, and I have to agree with you, the graphic detail in PES is probably just a little better but the feeling of realism is far greater in Fifa.

No-ones noticed because without meaning to sound patronising but no-one really cares about Fifa or PES anymore, I don't even hear football fans talk about them when they talk about CoD and so on all the time. There's just no way to really innovate football into something deeper then it already is in these games, which is why they don't get much attention anymore even from those who buy the games.

This game is awesome!!! I was thinking of starting one, but never got around to it...
I finished "Be a Pro" the other day, good concept but I wished it had more to offer than just 4 seasons. The play is total awesomeness  can't wait to finish exploring the other areas, just started my 1st manager season, but have no complaints about this game.

You are joking right?

Eh, no. I'll have a look at them both again soon, but from what I remember I thought the pitch and stadiums look slightly more detailed, not a lot though. If I was going to buy one, I'd get Fifa, but I doubt I'll be getting either.
