I see there isn't a thread up on this. It is a great game but has many bugs that many can not overlook. I hope this thread will be successful and stay on the first page for a long time. I intend to do my part in keeping it up :sly:.

If anyone would like to help me make a list of all the fastest players in Fifa 12 Ultimate Team, please post the following information with it.
Name, Overall Rating, Position, Pace Rating, Nationality & Club.

Example
Name: Hoilett
Position: RW
Overall Rating: 76
Pace Rating: 91
Nationality: Canada
Club: Blackburn

I will update this post as I find fast players.

Hello Ashes, glad to see I'm not the only Fifa head on GTP :)

Was really surprised there was no Fifa 12 thread though 👎

Somebody was trying to make a GTP United club and I stuck my name down but 2 people couldn't make a team :lol:
 
1. Will be on the look out for fast players with pace over 90
2. I would join a GTP Pro Club but only if they managed to make it into one of the divisions don't want to play with a bunch of hoggers.

All lethal wingers, all over 90 pace.

Probably get Nzogbia pretty cheap aswell :)

Yun Suk Young in the K league has like 92 acceleration and 99 sprint speed.

I am loving FIFA 12, so addictive! Started my career with my beloved Newcastle United, 29 games into my second season sitting 7th in the Premiership and going well. Craig Mackail-Smith my top scorer at the moment.
 
Got Kyle Walker, Tottenham in my Ultimate Team he has 93 Pace and is a shiny gold.
 
Should I pick up a copy of this? I've been contemplating picking up a new soccer game (I'm a casual soccer fan, but only for major cup finals or international tournaments), but I just popped in the last one I bought (World Cup '06) and found it incredibly difficult. I tried my butt off and only accomplished a 1-1 draw playing as Brazil against...India. INDIA! So, what I'm asking is, is there a way for a lightweight like me to have fun with the game? If not, I can blow $40 somewhere else.
 
Definitely. They have 2 button control, easy modes and lots of tutorials to sink your teeth into. I remember world cup 06 being very difficult as well though. If you like soccer then its a must buy.
 
Thanks for the quick response. I'll be sure to look into it. Maybe I can find it relatively cheap and still buy a new lacrosse stick without feeling too guilty. Now, I'm gonna go back and try to beat those godforsaken Indians :lol:. First time I've played PS2 in a long while as well.

Another question: I've seen that international teams are featured, what kinds of tournaments using these teams are available? All I've heard of is EURO 2012 DLC.
 
Outside of the Euro 2012 DLC (adds a whole new game mode) You can create tournaments with internationals, like recreating world cups and such, play friendlies and so on. It has 42 national teams as standard, Euro 2012 gives you all 53 UEFA (European) national teams.

Club wise, 29 leagues from 22 countries, plenty to do there as well :p Not to mention all the cups and various other competitions outside of the leagues.
 
Yeah, I'm liking the variety of teams, maybe it'll get me interested in club leagues. On the positive, I'm getting better at WC '06, playing as USA and pounding teams ranked higher than India ;). I'm looking forward to seeing how we do in our first set of qualifiers here in the next week. Go USA!

Okay, are the goalkeepers unbeatable in FIFA 12? Because I'm about to throw my controller through the screen, I'm pretty sure 12 wide open shots on goal shouldn't all be saved or hit pipe in this game. Everytime.

Resurrecting this thread since I am now playing this excellent game on a daily basis. This is my first FIFA title since World Cup 2002 so, I am pretty much starting at the basics. Any tips on how to get good? When I play ultimate team mode online, I usually get murdered 5-0 whilst having the better team.
 
Fast players? Biabany, French silver. Plays for for udinese I think.

It is most likely my playing causing me to lose. This is my First title since World Cup 2002. A lot has changed lol. I will definitely note the speed though.
