I bought this game yesterday and I have to say that it is AWESOME. I own Fight Night 2004 for a while already, but Round 2 is definitely a huge improvement over the previous one. It definitely looks a lot better too, and 2004 already looks good.

Usually on tv I think boxing is boring, I rather watch something which at least involves kicking too (like K1), but this game is just plain fun. It feels so satisfying to punch someone onto the mat after he already went K.O. and is on his way down. In all aspects this game is great, gameplay is fun, some of the best character models ever seen in a game and the sound of punches landing onto someone's cranium sounds very... painful... haha.

People usually complain about Electronic Arts, but this game is definitely the best boxing game out there. Also one of the better fighting games in general.
 
I have it, but haven´t played for a while. It´s not so different from Fight Night 2004. Well I never played it much so I wouldn´t know.

But it´s a good game to play against friends, to give WE a rest.
 
It isn't very different, but that's good.... because the first one is a great game already. It has all the good things about Fight Night 2004 and the few things that had to be improved are improved... which overall makes it a much better game. It's still boxing, with mostly the same controls, but implemented in a great way.
