File folder pictures?

Is it possible to add a photo to a file on the PS3? For example, when I download a movie from PSN it has a thumbnail photo that comes with it to show what it is. I would like to add photos to those files that do not have a thumbnail.

Going to guess this is a no...

You can make video thumbnails, which play a 15 second clip of the video alongside it in the XMB. just watch the video, choose the point where you want the video to start, press triangle, navigate to "create icon" and follow the instructions.

It is possible to do on a PC. Have you tried transferring a video file with a picture thumbnail over from a computer? Because that is the only way I could think of that might work.

^^^ I only have a netbook, so might not be possible.
