With this file save option.... It has totally ruined GT. You can now buy cars on eBay. Total joke. This game is now going for a trade in. And yeah before all the comments start, it really dose annoy me that some idiot can't be bothered to grind and earn the car. If you have "such a busy life style and don't have the time to grind" go play COD (I work a 49 hour week and have still earned the X2010). PD you suck, and you knew this was going to happen. Anyway back to COD and fallout new Vegas for me, what a waste of a build up for a game that you can Finnish in a click of a button. Don't get me wrong though, I know alot of people play it for the game it's self and want to challenge the game without the X2010. But you know also that as soon as someone has the X2010 they won't be changing there car again. I've seen a level 4 with it. Each car should have a individual code which can't be duplicated, end of.

So you're not going to play GT5 anymore because other people glitch cars? And how is that ruining the game for YOU?

Play the game how you like it, and stop worrying so much about what others do.

lol sell your game. We dont need crybabies here. What other people do does not change your game at all.

The ebay market has been killed by duping. fgt's were $100 now are $5. maybe your one of the sellers and your just mad.

Yeah, because that's what's really important in life. And we all know it takes 'Mad Skillz' to grind away, lap after lap against hapless AI in slower cars.

You guys crack me up.

It doesnt ruin my offline grinding and fun.
But the online part of the game is corrupted. Period.

I'm kinda bummed to go online, race with a car I like, (not an overpowered ligth car that is nowhere close "the real driving simulator" - X1) and get crushed by a 12yo who got GT5 2 days ago for xmas, is getting the pole and sending you an message via the PSN to tell you that you suck...

I agree with the OP.

It ruins the game for me because now it isn't a game. Like u said, people glitch, it just annoys me how someone can be at the same level as me without effort. I know what u mean though by saying it's "my game, play it how I want" but I can't because people glitch and it just seems like I've wasted 50+ hours of my time. I suppose that's only online though when I race, but it still gets to me.

I know it's not important in life, bur if u pay £40 for a game then what's the point in getting the top prize in 5 minutes?

I agree with the OP.

I start my own rooms all the time, and have yet to have 1 ruined by 12 year olds with X1's. If they did come in, I would quickly boot them from the room. End of story. You can also set HP and weight restrictions to keep the car out of your rooms. Use the options provided, and you won't even have to face the X1 online if you choose not to.

Why do you care what others do? Is it really all about bragging rights? I don't play GT5 to get the 'top prize'. I really don't care if I never drove the X1. I couldn't care less about GT Life in general. To me, earning credits and buying cars has one purpose; I want to be able to race online with a group or a league where we have competitive racing. For the most part, everything I've done in GT Life has been leading up to that point. I have yet to play a single racing game where the AI were worth racing. But I certainly could care less what others do or how they play, if it doesn't affect me directly.

Grammar problems aside, this thread presented a perfectly-good opportunity to discuss an issue with the game. But then some of you decided that it was entirely appropriate to start attacking one another, so I'm taking away your toys.
