Final Fantasy 4 and Dragon Quest 4 both coming to the DS

And I don't know about anyone else here but I'm loving my DS Lite even more since the fact that more and more quality old-school games and remakes are making their way on it. I like my PSP and all, but this is brilliant--FF4 is my favorite game ever...and I mean ever. Everything else will cease to exist when it comes out.

I'm glad they've decided to 3D-ify other Final Fantasies besides the mediocre FFIII. FFIV is going to be great, but I'm hoping they'll eventually do FFVI.

If you don't know yet I read an interview with one of the original developers on FF4 for the Super Famicom and he said that this new FF4 will actually have the content that they never could put in the original SFC game. 75%(?) of the story was not put in...which includes the backstory of Cecil and Cain before being Baron officers. I can't wait. I'm going to be looking forward to more old Dragon Quest games being remade--I only played the first one and would like to play the others without having to emulate it or bust out my NES from storage.

With that extra content it sounds like it'll definitely be worth playing. Unfortunately my friend sold his DS and I have no interest in buying a portable system, so just like with FF4 Advance and FF6 Advance, I'm going to have to rely on emulation...

IV sounds good, V would make me very happy, couldnt care less about VI, didnt like it (flame me!) =p
