Final Test for S licens...

For the final test tey give ya the hardest to control car(GT ONE Race Car)on the hardest track(Cote D' Azur)and they expect me to finish it even for bronze? It's insane.



I try to follow the demo, and get screwed over at the end of the course.

Got any tips?

Once you get used to the manual transmission, it'll definitely be easier.

I was stuck on S-8 for 2 days. After I switched to manual it only took me a few trys.
 
Practice, practice, practice.
Once you hit the proper lines and speed, youll be ripping the coarse.
Doing some of the races which feature this track has really taught me some new lines in which I can now fly around certain corners I was slowing down before.
Its all a matter of adjusting to the speed and controlling the throttle.

Yeah, that test can be a pain. I sharked it too the first time to be honest. But I restarted my game last week and my driving skills have improved ten fold sence then. I passed it with a silver medal in MT. There really is no way to do it in auto, unless u can hack the TCS back on. The GT-One generates insane ammounts or torque. If you have the car in simulation mode, I would suggest hot lapping in arcade mode in MT with TCS and AMS on. Make sure you load your ghost and keep lapping. Oh yeah, you might want to write down some times. Try these:

Checkpoint 1- 0:24.432
Checkpoint 2- 1:06.542
Checkpoint 3- 1:30.995

These times are for gold, so dont worry if you miss them. If you miss them by 1 to 1.5 seconds to worry too much, mabey even 2. But make sure you haul to make up for that lost time. Once you hit these times take off the TCS and AMS and lap. If your times fall about the same, go ahead and take the test. If you dont hit the time, DO NOT RESTART go back to the menu and let the ghost load. Hope this helps... And like Mike Bibby said, dont shift below 3rd the torque will spin the car. You might get away with second on the really sharp turn, and if your good you CAN shift it into first and sling the car around the corner, but make sure you keep the drift steady and dont hit the wall. Its risky but it will shave time off your laps.


I really dont like doing this, I try to help people but sometimes i feel like im takling too damn much. One guy flamed me on another board for accusing me of calling him a bad driver. Im just giving advice :confused: . Well Good luck

As long as it doesnt get redundant, it will be ok and dont worry about the flaming. Some ppl just cant take constructive criticism too well.

I'm tearing my hair out on all of the S Tests. I've bronzed S1. Everything else, fergit it. I'm close on the GT40/Seattle test, but there is always some crucial screwup that costs me a few tenths, and the prize.
 
well i finnaly got it. i got me S licens. got all bronze but i don't care. I don't care bout gettin gold on em, not worth it. they don't offer ya any good cars anyway.
 
It took me a long time to complete that test and it waz REALLY HARD.It just takes alot of practice and for me LUCK, though i did need manual to make it easier.
Well done for completing it, i just wrote the tips above because that is what i used during the test.

exactly.

Kyle i'm not tellin ya what do to, i'm just sayin if you had to shark the final S test, then that doesn't say a whole lot for ya. it makes ya look like you coulnd't do it without cheating. and you don't get the gratification of beating it when ya cheat.

I don't CARE about gratification when beating it. The S licence is impossible for me so it was the ONLY way out for me.

no one with less posts can tell me wot to do unless it's a good member from the ****in day the registered. 😈 :mad: :o
 
Kyle is entitled to do what he wants.
I too am having problems getting my s license. :(
I just dont have the patience to sit there and take a non handling, poor geared, low hp automobile and they expect me to make a good run. :D ;)
Ill eventually do them, but only when I need to.
Just dont bug him too much if he doesnt want the gratification of earning the license. ;)
