Well, after thinking should I or shouldn't I buy GT6 I finally shelled out £20 on impulse and bought it. I have to say I'm glad I did based on initial impressions. I have all the GT games all of which were bought on launch day but for some reason I didn't bother with 6. I don't know why I haven't bothered up to now, maybe jut general apathy and the fact that I bought a PS4 didn't help.

Anyway I have to admit I do so far love GT6, it's not perfect but I like the new layout of the home screen, much prefer the dealerships and like the way the game draws you in with the licences/races etc.

I would like to see the seasonal events improved and maybe some DLC but maybe that will come in time. Anyway I am 3 days into the game and enjoying it. I am glad I took the advice eventually of many on here who in reply to an earlier post I made asking if it was worth buying, told me to get it. Thank you :)

I also didn't buy it on launch day which was a first but I really enjoy it. I think I just didn't fancy the tedious starting races, they're boring and don't add anything to my enjoyment. Why we have to go through the licenses again and go through the motions of several races to unlock online just perplexes me. Why not let people play the game their way, by all means have them there but there are so many methods of play to this game and I just don't like grinding a race that you know you will win just to get past it.

I love the game, but mainly play online and seasonals

Here it comes the bashing of GT6....wait for it....

You won't be disappointed then because this Beta release needs to be bashed! I am also sure that many will think so do the developers ;-)

To OP. Have fun!

The best response to "the bashers" is to hit them with the "Ignore" button. Their negative posts (which is the only game they play now that they've given up playing GT6) all disappear like magic and the thread is cleansed. And they are purged from every other thread you might view.

I'm sure you would advocate to small child in the school yard to stand there with his fingers in his ears and yell "Nah! Nah! Nah!" whenever he might hear something he doesn't agree with.

Yep, that's how we have a balanced debate and open discussions by ignoring all the naysayers ? :-( It must be a nice view you have of the world through your rose tinted glasses censoring all the input that rattles your preconceived views ;-)

I think I did not make my point clear. It has nothing to do with your schoolyard.

If someone is just trolling around looking for anyone who is happy with GT6, and habitually creates posts in an attempt to make them unhappy, then I don't really want to hear from these people again. My principal objectives in this forum are to learn useful stuff and contribute some value. I have learned a lot, but not from whiners. I have tried to contribute, especially in the Features section of Suggestions. Along the way, I expect to meet some like-minded people.

Anyone who wants what you describe as "balance" can read the Epic Whining thread. I won't post a link, anyone can find it by following their nose.

In a school yard peoples mouths not be as big...

If there wasnt 10 "bashing" threads for every one thread of useful info I wouldnt have a problem. However nobody else uses the correct forum and their threads stay open...weird, but I guess this is the direction its going in.

Hey I am going online to race and have fun with fun people...see ya.

@GBO Possum good heads up the ignore will be useful for some-other logical people I can tolerate! Thanks 👍

To OP (once again) have fun!

Just saying it before someone else does :p this is in the general questions section, oops. But yes I agree, in the end, id rather have the game than not.

There is nothing wrong if someone enjoys a video game and wants to visit a forum without viewing anything negative.

I wonder why that is?

Is it because its a great game and we all have nothing better to do than join a site of a game we don't like to "bash" it?

So there are hundreds of games on PS3 alone so we must be superhuman to spend all day bashing everyone of them or is it just one massive coincidence we all chose GT?

Or is it the reality where the game we once loved and want to love, hence why we bought the game, is being run into the ground and it hurts us to see it?

You are the ones who don't care about GT if you are fine with it and don't want it to improve.

There is no way to communicate with PD so everyone is getting frustrated so they sound off in here, the only place where they might listen.

But its doubtful, PD seem to have their fingers in their ears like you!

Youre missing the point, he isn't interested in that, he simply wants to enjoy the game and visit this forum in a positive manner, which is okay.
