Well, I finally got my copy of GTA3 today.. Wow.. The funniest thing so far was driveby shooting standing on a cop cars roof :)
Haven't played a second GT3 after I got GTA.. What's the easiest way of doing the mission Toni gave me, "the pick-up"? I'm supposed to pick a briefcase up in an alley, after I pick it up a lot of triad members attack and waste me.. Do I have to take them out before getting the suitcase? Also, I'm totally lousy at aiming with a gun, I almost never hit the target.. Am I doing something wrong, or do I just have to practise more?
 
Drive car right down into the alley. jump out, grab case, jump back in and drive out. run over whatever guys are left :)
 
Ok, I tried that a few times but I guess I was too slow... I also found the aim button, which made it a lot easier hitting the target :)
 
this might seem like a long way but itll come in use later too. Do 100 fire missions (in Portland the station is in Harwood) (north) and you get the flamethrower which makes loads of missions really easy.

By the way if you want to just see the other islands quickly get in a coach and use the jumping cars cheat to jump the gap (L3) and then get a speedboat, head north and jump up onto land. Then push the boat (on land in a car) into the ocean on tyhe other side of the army base and pipeline then drive to shoreside. :D

I did a 170 fire missions in Portland and I never got no freaking flamethrower. :confused:

yeah just like dilligent dave said: do about 20 missions on each island to get it!!!
