Find player profiles?

Maybe I'm missing something, but how can I find a player profile by player name? The search function in Showcase only searches content, not player names as far as I can tell. So unless I actually see content from that player to click through on, I cant get to them, like players who say "check my other profiles".

WELL WHY THE SAM HILL NOT? sorry, sorry. Just SO many things on the list currently to hate PD and Sony about. So I guess everyone can just lay off with the "check out my gallery!" stuff in-game if they haven't actually posted content. I know there are creators out there whose content I'd like to see; I just have no way to when I'm in the game. And not everyone has a presence here on GTP, as bizarre as that may sound. GREAT JOB with the whole 'community' thing there, PD.




Oh and by the way, Check out my GT7 gallery! Not as much as Sport yet but I'm just getting back into things.

I was just thinking this the other day. I guess the best one can do is waste one of their hashtags on their username to make their liveries easy to find. But no one does that, so..

I use one of my hashtags with my user name. The only problem is that I don't have any content people would actually want!

You could try searching google though there'll be the issue that it won't have visited most of the pages yet, it still shows Sport profiles by default but hopefully it should improve over time if PD doesn't step in to add the feature themselves.

They did add page 1-2-3 etc. for your collection now where otherwise if it wasn't on page 1 you were knackered so they are working on it at least.

This is so ridiculous, and it means you can really only see content from well known racers. “Hey, I just had a great race against GT_JoeBloeSloMo, I'd like to check out their content and maybe say hi.."
