Finished 24 heures du mans earlier this afternoon... I had to pause multiple times as I accomplished it with the 'flu'. Longest 'stint' was 8hrs. Skipped nearly a full 12hrs when I wasn't feeling the best. Since I did it solo and wasn't feeling well I used the X1. I managed a 2:16 fastest lap in the middle of the night (Lap 229). My total lapcount was 398. I did not race the last 6 hours as I had built up enough of a lead. The sun came back up at about 5:30am, and it rained from 6am until about 10am.
I had to pit every 8 laps.
50 pit stops = 400 tires, 4850 litres of fuel.

Even though I paused it for hours at a time it still feels like an accomplishment.

The only things I have left in the game to get all golds are the two 24hrs @ the Ring (A-spec and B-spec) and the 3 vettel challenges. Everything else compelted, gold.

It rained for several hours so he (2nd place) didn't get as many as possible if it were a dry race but I believe it was 380 for him. During my B-Spec 24hr race though the 2nd place finisher got 390+.

I think if you shoot for 395-400 laps you'll be safe.

Doing this race as I type, am 15.5 hours into the race and have already been idling for well over 6 hours today. 242 laps done so far, parked just short of the start/finish line and am still 11 laps in the lead so will be doing some more racing soon. It has been raining for the past 6-7 hours which is annoying, sun came up about 3 hours ago after 7-8 hours of darkness. Best lap so far of 2:12.458 on lap 98, just wish it would stop raining as it's much more difficult to be consistent having to constantly slow down for the AI because you can't see where they are.

I also only have the 2 Nurburgring races left which will easily be golded, however while I still have 2 vettel races left to gold (probably never happen, got silver on both but can't push it any more) I also cannot gold all the races in the grand tour event, is strange that to me.
