firefox.exe problem

Im having a problem with a process called firefox.exe. Its normal when you use Firefox that a process called firefox.exe appears in the process tab and stays there untill you shut Firefox down.
But i have a process called firefox.exe that stays on constantly even when Firefox is not on. I dont even think that it has anything to do with Firefox itself cause when i use Firefox a second firefox.exe appears (the real one) and it goes away when i shut Firefox down. This one remains in the process tab regardless of any Firefox activity. I have tried shutting it down but in reappears again. I have scanned my PC with every possible spyware and virus scanner that i could think of but they all found nothing.

I havent noticed any strange things happeng but its kind of bugging me knowing that something is running that i know nothing about. Any idea what it could be?

Problem solved. Appearantly there was a file called RegMen.exe in my Windows\System32 directory that was causing it. I noticed it starting up after i closed and restarted Explorer.exe so i deleted it and the problem was gone.
