firefox problem

having a problem with firefox,downloaded the update yesterday and it was fine then went to switch on the pc this morning and when you click on firefox to open it,it goes all white as if it has crashed and makes the pc run slow.tried to uninstall it and reinstall it and still wont work but it works in safe mode.spyware and virus checkers arent bring up anything.

anyone any ideas?

Try uninstalling FF, then installing 2.0.0.4 from here, then try to upgrade again.

If that doesn't work, try uninstalling FF again, then installing 2.0.0.5 from [url="http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/2.0.0.5/win32/]here[/url]

got it sorted,just wiped the hard drive
