Hi, I am saving to buy A FFB Racing wheel. I would like to have a few suggestions from you guys, because you know all of the facts. Here is what I am looking for:

1: MUST BE PS3 COMPATIBLE!!
2:Clutch pedal is a big selling point!
3:MUST HAVE 900 DEGREES ROATION!
4:MUST BE COMPATIBLE WITH MOST PC GAMES!
5:MUST BE NEW (NO USED)

The almighty G27.

5:MUST BE NEW (NO USED) A little more than $200 for a new one.

One important thing if you plan on jumping to next-gen (PS4): Logitech wheels are NOT compatible at this point in time.

Thanks! I actually tried a friends G27 earlier  (It's quite good)

G27 is literally the only choice given your criteria. One thing... it's NOT a PS3 wheel. But it does sneak in on the DFGT's heels, and alot of PS3 games actually fully support all it's features.

Depends on your budget. I would go for something a bit more future proof like T300RS as I assume you'll probably get PS4 in the future.

There's a thread that should help you with some key specs to help you decide.

I looked at the information on the t300 and I think I'm going to stick with Logitech, as they are a brand I trust, as well as how the G27 includes many things the t300 does not. However, I thank you for your imput. :gtpflag:

I guess I'll weigh in on this, as I recently bought my first wheel, a DFGT, for the equivalent of around 75 CAD. I feel that the purchase of a wheel depends very much on your current financial situation. If you're a student or are in high school, I highly recommend buying a inexpensive used wheel. It might not be all that you want, but trust me, you'll want the extra money in a couple of years. If you're living on your own with a steady income, I'd recommend the G27 unless you plan on upgrading to a PS4 in the next 2 years.

In reality there are two options for PS3 and PC which would give you full 3 pedals and H shifter:

A: Logitech G27 (cheapest I can see in stock in my country is €210)
B: Fanatec combo, for instance the GT3RS or CSR wheel, CSR or CSR Elite pedals and CSR shifter set. (No package options for sale in EU right now, so it would set you back €180-200+€80-150+€60=€320-410)

But if you are willing to pay over €400, then the Thrustmaster options pop up, because they are basically a clear step up in user experience due to the better FFB tech. And they give you PS4 support on top. So you'd end up with:
C: T300 with T3PA and TH8A for around €550-600
D: T500 with TH8A for somewhere around €500-550
(Thrustmaster pricing tends to fluctuate a bit)

Like many others, I wholeheartedly recommend the Logitech G27 in your situation. It's a good wheel and superb value for money. Yes, the T300 is a better wheel in pretty much every way, and the TH8A is a huge step up from the G27 shifter, but the price is also quite a bit higher.
