Hello! I hope this is in the right section if not could a mod please direct me to the right forum.
This is my first post on GTP but I've been here hiding in the shadows ever since GT4 a lot of the people on this board inspired me to love the Gran Turismo line of gaming! For GT5 I'm taking it to the next level! It's going to be my first time getting a wheel. I don't currently own the game and probably won't for a few more weeks (Christmas present!
) but I figured I should get a jump on the questions now!
Since I've never played any racing game with a wheel (besides the Initial D arcade game) should I spend the money on a G25 or G27? I was thinking of going with the DFGT to get me started. What do you think? Also I can't drive a stick shift in real life (wanting to learn) so how realistic is the G27 clutch?
What should I do as far as a cockpit is concerned? This is my real concern as I don't know how much I would have to spend. Could I get something decent for around $350-400?
Last question for now...Is it worth the extra money to get the collectors edition? Do you get any extras in game or is all just outside of the game extras?
