Hello guys im Pete9320. Im a die hard Le-mans and Gt5 fan. I have a idea of a 24 hr lemans (REAL 24 HRS). Here is how it would be done:
We would have 8 teams with two cars in each (donated if drivers dont have them). Each car can have two IRL drivers (Sitting and shifting to drive) while the race is going. We would be driving while the irl one was going on meaning we would also have time trials, Goodwood festival etc. We would have 4 teams in the gt class (The non prototype classes that is the ''LMS'' cars). And teams in the premium Le-mans cars.
Rules:
There would be allowed to have aids on (Although it would add ballast and downgrading your teams car) so a driver with all aids shall have a minimum PP while a driver with no aids or abs on 1 shall have no ballast etc. Drivers must have a stable internet connection and comunication with each other. All ages are allowed meaning no diskriminations against kids (Im 13 btw). If you or one on your team can not show up for qualification your team should be suspended from the race unless the driver is able to countinue the race himself. We would be driving on the Sarthe track with time and weather change meaning its obligatory to pit when told to. We would pit every 8-10th lap so the grid can be evened out a bit. There would be no mechanical damage if people seem to drive clean. If people crash and burn then mechanical damage should be put on. Visual damage will be set to OFF.
What about streaming?
If we could get one user on the forum to stream the event online it would be great. I would give them a little amount of cash for it.
Prize?
Again this is just an idea but if no admin or anything would help we could have no prize. If we get no help i will have a prize of a lowest amount PSN card to the winning team.
Is this a good idea? Im just wanted to see if people would be intrested in such a long race.
