He everyone just joined this forum and wanted to share a project I am working on with my 17 year old son. We are building a sim rig and fixing up an old dell Optiplex 9020 with an i7 processor for our first sim rig set up. Then follow up with some diy simhub projects (gauges, switch panel maybe fans). I picked up a Logitech 920 and want to eventually add a shifter. The purpose is to work with my son and teach him some building skills and pc building. I will post photos along the way.

I wish I had space in our fairly small computer room for a dedicated sim rig. I'll have to attach mine to my PC desk, and put it away after each use. I used to drive in Grand Prix Legends (GPL) back in the day, and I'm doing research for my new sim racing components.
