We've had some great cars and better tunes for the CotM so far, but I wanted to really get back to what this was intended to be in presenting a car that it little used or tuned. In the tune directory maintained by @XS there is, currently, no entry for Spyker because nobody has tuned it yet. Let's change that.

This car is a 🤬. Understeer then oversteer, then understeer, then oversteer. I don't think I'll be tuning this one. It's a really frustrating car! It would be cool if some tuners could give this a go, because I really want to like it. Right now it's usable, just extremely annoying to drive.

Now that pretty much sums it up:)

I had a little mess about with this last week as I was sick and tired getting stuck behind it in the twisty bits. It seems to be one of the goto cars in some of the rooms I've found recently around the 575pp mark and it's quite frustrating getting to the first corner behind it and having to wait for it to make up it's mind how it would like to kill the driver before rolling round the corner very very slowly. No sooner have you passed it in the bends and it flies straight past you on the straight just to start the fun all over again at the next corner. :banghead:

I think the main reason that it is so bad is to do with the weight distribution, 52:48 in a MR with a 4.2L V8 behind the driver...I think not, either that or the front wheels are made of lead.

It's funny because this car handles EXACTLY how Jeremy Clarkson described it! Of all cars for PD to get the physics correct on LOL...... It is insanely fast in a straight line, and frustratingly slow in the corners. I messed with the suspension for nearly an hour and got it to turn in nice, but in my attempts also increased snap oversteer on corner exit.

Lol, that's pretty much exactly the stage I'm at with it right now. Fine going in to corners, good balance mid corner, touch throttle on exit and it's backwards into the sand/wall we go.
