Hello everyone,
I'm seeking your feedback on what real world circuit you would like to see a Formula Three challenge take place.
Choose carefully as once you have cast your vote, you can't change it. Please cast your vote and feel free to offer your comments.
The poll will be open for 30 days from 16th July 2015
Thankyou for your input.

Looks like brands hatch so far so 50 second Laps -_- not alot of time to be found but a lot to be lost.
Btw the new FITT event us up and running if you haven't seen it yet.

Brands Hatch GP 80's is the long version of the track in case you didn't know. Lap times will take longer than 50 seconds or your car will spend a bit of time in the scrutineering bay under the microscope :odd:

Good options and Tsukaba would probably be pretty fun but I went with Laguna Seca. Brands Hatch would be alright but that first corner is so frustrating sometimes that I just can't choose that place, ever.
Thanks for the feedback Cory
I reckon all the tracks have a fun element to them. That's why I wanted to run a poll & get others opinions. I was torn & couldn't decide.
Turn 1 at Brands is an absolute ripper of a corner but, treat it with respect or pay the penalty.

Hello again,
This poll has now closed & the results are in. It seems the 1980's version of the Brands Hatch Grand Prix layout is the most popular choice for a FITT contest by one vote over Laguna Seca.
Thankyou to all that voted and/or posted comments  :) 👍

So I guess the next step is to gauge the level of interest & ask anyone potentially interested in participating as a tuner, tester or willing to offer assistance to register your enthusiasm.

I've run around 10 laps at both Brands Hatch & Laguna Seca with the default settings and my own gear ratios. The results are remarkably similar lap times.

Thankyou my friend. It'll be fun to have you onboard.
I don't have any dates sorted yet as I'm still dotting the I's & crossing the T's.
It would be good to check the FITT thread to see when a time slot is open for a run. With back to school a lot of us are busy, but that will be settled down soon.

I have an active post in the FITT thread and a similar one in the Tuner category gauging the interest level & seeing when a suitable gap in the calendar becomes available.

That's a fun little car. The PP level that you choose will be important. Or are you thinking about a HP and weight limit instead, like the real class would have had.
It's a great car with a huge history. The car will be in absolutely standard/ as bought condition except for oil change. Some people may have performed that already (like me) and, considering it's a million dollar purchase, I didn't want to have to deny those that have. That's something you can't undo. As a result, PP, BHP & weight will be identical on all entrants with the tuning being done on the adjustables like Aero, suspension, brake bias, gear ratios & diff settings. Should be ultra close.
We'll see how many different ways we can skin an identical cat

You can burn off an oil change 300 km I think for it to be totally gone.

It's something like that but just to even the equation & take out any variable I'm going to make it compulsory.
I did think about allowing both options but I expect the tunes to be really close in times & that 7bhp deficit could make all the difference.

You are correct 7 bhp would be the difference maker so most everyone would have it anyways.
