**FIXED 24min of LeMans/timed race glitch

* 24 LeMans is ok
*edit 24 min Nurburgring is fine

*also Spa. Done with RB Jr.

Just did the 24 min run on La Sarthe.
Both times I came in first. Myself and the first 4 cars did 7laps and the rest of the field did 6

It has given me only 12 th place each time. Ahhhhhh

Anyone else have a prob?

Did spa and finished 2 laps in front of some with no prob. Did all these tonight after the 1.03 update.

Just did the 24 min run on La Sarthe.

Did you leave the track/cut any corners?
 
I did on one race. Just went over at chicane and got 3sec penalty... 1 time. No short cutting at all.

2nd race I did not. Pretty sure. Will run perfect race in morning to see. Man I'm a lil mad. Running it back to back with same result.
 
I just did the spa 24 minute and I came first and the leaderboard showed me first but only got one star. Just had to do it again.
 
On race 2 (Tsukuba) of the 5 minute race series I would be in the lead on the final lap and it would suddenly drop me to 2nd or 3rd place, did the race various times on a second profile, then switched to my main profile where I'd already cleared those races and it happened there also. Worse still, it now shows my highest finishing place as 2nd even though I did win it before.
 
Seems only fix is to be on the lead lap crossing the line before anyone else crosses regardless of their lap number

I did beat 24min spa. Used the Red Bull Jr. I crossed the line first and said I was 2 laps ahead of all but 1.
 
Just a thought...
Wonder if you can slow down the field in LaSarthe by staying behind first place.

When racing the AI. If your a couple seconds back the AI stays on it. If your in front they draft and try to pass faster at corners

But if your on the AI's butt then they tend to brake way early and slow.
Wonder if you can hold them up to 6 laps at LaSarthe by riding them making them slower.

I just posted a similar thread re the 15 minute races. Definitely due to 1.03, have tried the methods in the solution thread to no avail
 
Shakes my head. This is more of the same from GT5. Poly updates fix 1 thing and breaks a bunch of other things. Next update is gonna fix this error and break something else in game. PD just can't break this sad cycle it seems.

I won't DL 1.03 till I beat those races then. This is why i never DL PD's updates right away. Hope they fix this soon for those that updated.
