For no apparent reason every time I close Firefox it will forget I'm logged into sites. I've not changed any settings in months and I've had no such issues up until tonight. Before tonight, I could open up a bookmark in Firefox and I would already be logged in to the site but now every time I close Firefox and re-open it I have to keep logging in.

I've check over all the cookie, history and saved passwords settings and nothing has been changed.

Can anyone tell me why Firefox is suddenly forgetting I'm logged in?

EDIT: After a little investigation it seems like Firefox refuses to save any cookies, anyone have a fix?
EDIT 2: Seems I have a corrupt cookies.sqlite file. It looks like quite a common problem.
EDIT 3: Fixed this easily, simply rename the file to cookies.tmp (found in Profiles Folder) and restart Firefox. It should then save cookies again as it creates a new cookies.sqlite file.

Speaking of Firefox. When I open up Firefox, it takes about 2 minutes just to load. When I was with Internet Exploror, it only took about 10 seconds. But though Firefox has a faster internet browser. What is up with that? It works about 20x faster to start up on my laptop.

Funnily enough I've had the same probelm with Firefox not remembering me on sites such as GTP for quite some time now, I've had a look for the file you were on about and I can't find it. Any ideas?

EDIT: Fixed it :D

Ha I had both these problems too. I reinstalled firefox and it started up quicker (but still slow compared to IE :grumpy: ) and remembered logins after. Nice to know what it really was.

*chuckle* while the rest of you are yarping about about it, I have to turn that kind of stuff ON.
keep firefox constantly updated. there's some kind of incomplete finish coming on when firefox updates.
