I posted this on Fanatec's forums, but not sure how many people view those regularly. I thought it couldn't hurt to post it here, too.

So here's the deal. I got my GT3 RS V2 a couple of days ago and have been loving it. Well I was putting the paddle shifters in place and had the wheel face down on my couch to put the screws in properly. When I pulled it back up the wheel looked a little funny. I looked closer and thought, "That wasn't like that before, was it?" Looked down on the couch cushion and found the issue at fault.

Here's a picture that should explain it more fully.

It doesn't affect functionality whatsoever, but since it IS Porsche, I'd like to keep it looking nice. Any suggestions on the best way to reattach it cleanly in a more permanent fashion?

Put super glue on a que tip, then apply to the r, reseat it.

I was thinking that'd be the best way, I'm just a little worried that depending on the type of glue, it might not be able to fit snugly. There's not very much room. I'll probably just try it, see how well it works out.

The gel or slow setting stuff. Regular super glue might lock it in place before you had it positioned just right.

Is it a sticker or a piece of plastic?

Paint it back with black paint if it is not flush.

I thought about it, and I'm going to try some slow-drying gorilla glue (gel version) with toothpicks. I'll keep the tweezers handy to keep it precise. The thing I only realized after posting is that other little pieces came off from the black flame-ish sections underneath as well, but I'm not worrying about that. I'd just like to be able to have the letters for "Porsche" all consistent, it'd satisfy the perfectionist in me.

We'll see how well it works.

Well, gave it a shot. The glue went a wee bit over the outside, but it looks much better. I am satiated. :)
