Flickr changes incoming for free users

I wonder if photos will be actually deleted or just hided like some years ago. I have 4.160 photos and don't really want to lose most of it (even if it's mostly crap).

I think it would be best to just download your whole flickr collection. That is what I am planning on doing as per this guide that lists the steps to download everything in one go:

  1. Login to your Flickr account on a web browser
  2. Click your profile photo in the upper right corner
    download1.jpg
  3. Choose the link to Settings
    download2.jpg
  4. Scroll down to Your Flickr Data and confirm your email address
  5. Click the button Request my Flickr data

  6. When your data is ready, Flickr sends an email notification
  7. Follow the link in the email to download a zip archive containing all of your content from Flickr
