So, this guy says he got his Veyron to fly by launching it off cars on the Cape Ring... says it's all a matter of timing. Has anyone else attempted this before? If you have, I'd REALLY like to have a rough estimation of when I should start accelerating towards the ring.

I have no idea. But allow me to make it up to you. Here's a swimming Veyron:

If you watch the video carefully, he uses another car (CitroenGT) to launch off of, which is coming in the opposite direction

I don't see why you would need to time it. Why don't you simply park the cars at the top and then test for positioning(forward or back)..Maybe a few Dome Zeros would be better too for that true wedge shape..

I know, but he had to time his acceleration just right so he could hit them at the right moment. And I'm just curious as to what the best time would be to get going.

Practice! That's the only way.

Im guessing the other cars need to be moving, else they will just be rammed out of the way, and you'll come to an unceremonious, short-lived, crash.

:scared: Why??

But yes, practice is your best bet. Maybe get a buddy to come over and help, so you don't have to wait for the AI to slowly and carefully circle around.

Hi

Slightly different question how has he managed to race anything but bugatti's at single race? As I can only race other cars in a single race when I go on my own custom tracks?

Thanks
Paul

That picture makes me cringe. That's now a £1,100,000 bath toy. What a cockend driver.

Back on topic, surely the Veyron can fly under it's own steam?

Just take your car round the curcuit NO EARO at all full pelt over the hump and you will fly, try it in the X2010 as well no earo awsome.

Earo? you mean Aero?

The Real Flight Simulator 👍

No, here's the flight simulator.

I'l just hop in my Veyron, head to the Cape Ring and try my best to get some air. It takes him approx. six seconds to go from where he's parked to hitting the other cars so I'll just see if I can get my timing right.

Thanks for your input guys 👍
