Hey everyone, I decided I would get more replies here than the electronics forum, so here goes.
Today I picked up an FM transmitter to use with my cell phone, but it uses a 1/8" stereo plug. I picked up an adapter for it so it would fit my cell phone's 3/32" (or whatever the smaller size is)
I didn't know whether to get the Mono plug, the Stereo plug, or the Headset one.
After thinking about it some, I went with the stereo plug. I can't fully plug it in unless I shave off some of the rubber around the plug, since it doesn't fit into the little indentation in my cell phone, but if I press it in there good, the sound I get sounds like it's coming from the right speakers only, and I get a bit of radio static. If I just let it go, I get sound everywhere, and clear, but since it's not actually "plugged" in, it falls out. The only way to get clear sound is to hold it lightly with my hands while driving, which is not what I was looking for.
If anyone knows, should I get a headset adapter or a mono one to get it to play on all speakers when fully plugged in?
