im sorry if i sound rude, but, i dont get the appeal of the second picture. neither car is completely in the frame, the editing over all is good, specially the shininess of the porsche. but, the r8 looks dull and out of place.

Nice, I have been away for a while so wasn't able to respond 👍

I tried to capture a sense of speed in my picture so I purposely didn't want the cars all in the frame to make it seem like a real picture taken with a camera, also I wanted to get the finish line in the picture to give a sense of competition. Hope that helps empty space or at least might explain why people liked it or it could be something completely different and I'm talking rubbish
