Foo FightersMusic

This is one of the coolest bands I've ever heard from a long time. I heard them when I was 10 years old. The Foos play grunge, which is heavy metal combined with punk. They formed up when the lead singer, Kurt Cobain, of Nirvana shot himself to death. They got goodies like Everlong, Big Me, The One, All My Life, and Times Like These ;)

I couldnt care less for any band. I think they are pretty lame, and it pisses me off that they always think thay find the black hole in rock and that they cover it. bah. they SUCK.

Cano

and I like grunge very much, but that... GUAAKKK

Bump....

The Foos are fackin superb!

Seen a few times have all their albums, including some imports and other rare stuff. Got media clips of interviews etc and all sorts.

Whether you like it or not Dave Grohl is one of the most important rock musicians of recent times and widely regarded as one of the nicest men in rock at the moment. The whole band (Dave, Chris, Nate and Taylor) are all consummate professionals and produce excellent music and give an outstanding live performance.

And Cano, think before you post, quite obviously the Foos matter to the thread starter and simply did not require such a negative comment quite so soon after starting..... Or put it another way... blow it out your arse, ‘cos I’m not interested.

I love their music, but i wish they'd break up.

More time for the Queens of the Stone Age (the lead singer for the Foo Fighters is the drummer for them). :)

i think the foo fighters are excellent. Dave Groehl is awesome as well. he could almost be his own band. hes an excellent drummer, singer and guitar player.

Dave Grohl does indeed rock. He's one of the only people I've ever seen who's learnt 2 instruments, and learnt them so well.

Anybody else know who can pull that feat?

Singing might as well count as an "instrument". It's not easy.

Josh Holmes, lead singer of Queens of the Stone Age, also does drumming, singing, and guitaring. He drums for Eagles of Death.

Adam Pierce of Mice Parade, Philistines Jr. and a couple other bands plays drums, guitar, piano, organ, vibes, some sort of chinese harp, messes about with it on the computer and sings. Probably other stuff too. He did an entire album by himself using the first take every time ("Ramda" by Mice Parade) and you would never know from listening to it. But, as Im sure he would tell you, none of that necessarily makes the music good...but it is.

"Everlong" was a nice song/video, but I can't say I like much of their other stuff...
