I've hit a boiling point. It's my own fault. I fished around the gt sport forums and read too many posts. It has me feeling kind of bugged, yet also inspired; to make some videos. So I did. I streamed some videos aimed at accomplishing the the following goals...
1.) Present to the viewers valid and interesting talking points about GT Sport and the series in general. Aka, food for thought. Question the obvious **** that never gets questioned... 2.) Educate. Give the general fan base a chance to expand their knowledge of sim racing by providing amusing facts and stories from my 18+ years sim racing. ...Yes, I did have a girlfriend in highschool.
3.) Set an example for the countless Jaded GT "fans" on this forum. The ones that bug me with their negativity and elite bias towards whatever their current sim is...(y'know, the underwhelmed ones that post so much about how they hate "this", or was disappointed by "that" in gt_->#). We'll take that negative **** and turn it into excitement and passion...Which leads me to the last objective...
4.) To entertain you. Bottom line. We like cars. We like games. We like racing. Why the **** is there any reason to be anything other than excited and stoked for a game like GT...Sport...Beta. enjoy!
Direct Drive Life on YouTube: ( more accurately named; belt drive life, or thumbstick life)
The following videos contain profanities.
Belt Drive Life:
Sound: observations from a has-been producer
Let's see what that funky interpolation (soap opera effect) does to a 30fps capped Gran Turismo replay... O...M...G... bra...(actually been doing this since gt5)
Next race: "****, I can't steer this thing! Turn it off!"
Subscribe and like and all that BS all the YouTube hosts say. Stay positive guys. Rep the GT community proudly and drive like a sportsman. It might just make GT sport a great sim racing platform someday.
