I E-mailed Them and here is what i wrote:

Dear Sir/Mam,
I was browsing through square-enix-usa.com, and i could not find anything regarding Final Fantasy VII on PS One. And by nothing i mean, strategy guides, technichal support or even the option of buying the game through http://www.square-enix-usa.com/seui/index.htm.
I own multiple copies of Final Fantasies VII through X, but VII is still the best of them all, and i wanted to buy a copy of that game since the one i have is the one with the green stripe on the side. Sure i could buy the original box sets from ebay, but since it's going to be part of a collection i'm creating i wanted it to be straight from Square and untampered.

By the way i refrained from buying X-2 and XI, because of the inconsideration that Square Enix have showed to Final Fantasy VII Fans and theire request for a sequell, the same way Final Fantasy X had with X-2. And i'm sure the sales figures for the last two Final Fantasy Games on PS2 are a proof of the gamer's discontent.

I hope this letter is of interest to the Marketing department of Square Enix. This letter was a way for me to voice my opinion as well the opinion of many gamers, whom i sure feel the same way regarding the above mentioned issue.

In closure, i would really appreciate if this letter was responded to regarding the purchase of an original sealed box set of Final Fantasy VII.

Thank you
Sincerely Yours
Sam

ANY THOUGHTS :dopey:

I have no idea why you even bothered.

New, unopened copies of FFVII probably don't exist. Maybe that's why copies are not available for purchase on the Square website, don't you think?

Square couldn't care less if you disliked FFX-2 or FFXI. The same way PD couldn't care less if a noob wants Ferrari in GT4.

you are so optimistic :dopey:
you just lifted my spirit, look at it it's soaring up in the sky, aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh.
it's this kind of attitude that lets developers get away with what they make. you as a consumer have the right to voice your opinion, and if enough people showed made themselves heard some one will eventually listen.
and no i do not live in fantasy land, but i always keep a small margin for hope. you never know it might work out the way you wanted it to be. 👍
