What do you wear to use with your pedal set?

I did have a pair of diadora slip-on's but they have worn out.
Now looking at getting a pair of reasonably priced racing/karting boots. ANy reccoomendations ?

Yeah mine aren't worn-thru yet. They just have no more bottom tread and the fabric is kinda beat. Prior to this I have some old Nike ACG slip-on climbing mesh shoe thing, but those the soles seperated after about a year as sim shoes. They are like 13 years old shoes at that point so I got my money's worth out of them...

I find I like to have some rubber sole there with some support but not so much. A brand new pair of Puma Speedcat or something feels like overkill.

My pedals are now CSP V3s but I have T500RS pedals before with really stiff skateboard bushing for brake.

I use a pair of brunswick bowling shoes with non inverted pedals. Rubber heals and slick leather toes.

Yep this is the way to go for sim-racing. Bar none.

Yeah I have looked around on websites and the PUmas looks good altho they do them for BMW Porsche Mercedes etc
However you may have noticed my username and I would feel silly wearing BMW shoes with a Nissan username.
So I'll keep looking.

I use a really worn in pair of low top chucks. The sole is so thin, they feel like racing shoes.

A new pair would work I guess but they would be stiff and lack the pedal feel I believe most people desire.

These look nice but im afraid I have broad feet and they will be too narrow.
Probably gonna have to go into an actual shop for this one.

Some old chucks, which grip the metal on the V3s really well, but most of the time just some grippy hospital socks.

I normally wear skate socks, but with the onset of the summer heat, they tend to get very slippery with perspiration. That's why I'd just go au naturel in that situation.

All very good suggestions. I managed to get another pair of slip on's for a good price.
They give good me better control over the pedals than my socks. :)

I got a cheap pair of Asics wrestling shoes. They fit like my Momo and Oakley race boots do, the soles are about the same thickness, and width as well so with my pedals adjusted properly it closely mimics my real race car.

And they are cheap so if I somehow wear them out they were like 40 bucks.

Just socks, I like to feel the pedals though sometimes my braking foot gets a bit sore from the load cell brake.

another vote for wool socks, although with my new pedal set, I might need to rock my house-slippers... at least on my left foot.
