Is it just me and like 5 other people in the whole world that aren't DOUCHEBAGS on here? It seems like everytime I post on here... Here come the TROLLS... just bashing and talking trash... It dissapoints me that when I joined the community a few months ago it was filled with people willing to help make deals and overall just be cool... Where have all these guys gone? If anyone else is experiencing this... Please feel free to post... Thanks (cool guys)
 
Just watch how you word things, and be sure to use the search bar before asking questions you think may have already been answered.

There are many "faux-moderators" that have taken it upon themselves to correct everyone and point out that you should generally use the search bar. Really all there is to do is ignore these and take the advice of the guys who post on topic or give you a link to where the thread has been posted before.

Finally, a post like this is sure to get all the trolls crawling out of the woodwork, so I would suggest refraining from venting like this if you are looking to avoid that type as much as it irks you.

Sorry you're finding certain aspects of the site unenjoyable, but remember most of us are just here to help :)
 
Hmm... What's the relation to GT5?
 
There was also trolls on the site . It just almost an year after GT5 is out and less people are playing.

Thanks J... I guess it was just heat of the moment... It just disappoints the hell outta me that we have been overrun by unfriendly people like crazy... I'm no postmaster by any means... But I've had my share of posts... And majority of them have just been torn to shreds by these guys... Don't get it... Just be cool... Thanks again J...
 
Yea there are alot of smart asses who would rather waste their time telling you to search it or where to post it or it has already been posted rather than just helping you out and giving you a link..although I've seen plenty of people who will also post the link for you if you are unable to find it which is cool it's like 50/50 thanks to the guys that actually help

Not everyone that you're going to meet on GTPlanet is going to be nice and willing to help you but then again there are plenty of people who are willing to do so, you've just got to move on and ignore the "trolls" man!

At OP, youll realize that this section is a beacon for idiots, and for that reason not many of the nice people stay in the GT5 fourm. Usually the "good" people stay in the rumble strip, :)

So you are saying that this is the proper place to put this thread?

Note that I was responding to the OP's question, so my post wasn't even made with the same intent as the other two you quoted and rolleyed. There's also several layers of irony in backseat modding in response to backseat modding in a thread complaining about backseat modding.

Just ignore posts and or report it if people are looking to cause trouble. But calling people douchebags in a thread title isn't exactly a way to endear yourself to mods or members. The majority of people on here aren't looking to troll threads, it's just a loud minority of people. Have to deal with it and ignore them.

Language seems a bit too strong, we are here for roughly the same reason; to race and have fun. If you found somebody to be a "douchebag", the report post button is right there to your right. Leave it to the mods 👍
 
Shrug it off, I'm sure a vast majority of ppl posting on here probably haven't even hit puberty yet, & think they're cool b/c they've mastered a game. When posting in a forum like setting u have to use the rule of 3..like when a u ask a chick how many guys she slept w/ multiply it by 3. So for every positive response u get, expect 3 more negative ones. Hope this helps, KEEP POSTiNG

sure to get locked but point taken. I agree this happens but it happens on any forum, really. Especially when you think about the age range of this particular one...
 
Welcome to the internet. 19 of every 20 people on the internet are at the level of people who make comments on Youtube.

That aside, complaining about "bashing and talking trash" just after decrying all but 5 members of this site as DOUCHEBAGS and TROLLS is slightly self-defeating - not to mention posting a non-GT5-related topic in the GT5 Q&A forum...
