This year marks the 12th consecutive year of the ITRCA (Integra Type-R Club of America) ITR Expo. The real-life event is aimed at Honda/Acura drivers and specifically Integra Type-R owners; For them to unite at a racetrack and drive their "factory racers" as they were intended to. It give's newbie racers a chance to learn and the seasoned vets a chance to brag for winner's rights.

This online event is intended to unite Honda/Acura lovers at a road course environment, and aimed specifically at those who have owned, driven or are genuine fans of the ITR moniker. I shouldn't have to say more about the accomplishments this small and nimble chassis achieved during its peak racing history in the factory touring car circuit. The 195 HP engines that came stock in the ITR are well renowned as great FWD foundations to build high horsepower racing engines, that will stand up to abuse and demands race cars require. They are also known in the Sport compact market as great engines to swap into Civics because they are easy to swap since they share common drivetrain parts. Coincidentally, this has also led to the downturn of ITR ownership and availability because they are targets of thieves who know the vulnerabilities of security, but the overall strength as aforementioned.
I am proposing this to commemorate the ITR legacy through the Gran Turismo game, in an online race series held over two days with two events for each day. Each event should run no longer than 30 minutes. I am feeling this out for interest at the moment, and would appreciate constructive input about how to lay out the event, rewards given and how/if we should limit mods/pp. Also, I am considering making one event for each day COMPLETELY UNLIMITED TO ALL PRODUCTION HONDAs (Limited modifications allowed), which means FF/FR/Midship cars can run together. I'm thinking that would be true to the ITR Expo spirit since it's not restricted to just Integra's.
Cliffs:
-Racing at an American track (Laguna Seca is my first choice)
-Racers limited to Honda production vehicles
-Event held over two days in August, with two events each day (Date and times TBD)
-Modifications unlimited, tires unlimited
-JDM and USDM Integra Type-R's permitted
-USDM Honda S2000 and USDM Acura NSX permitted (no JDM NSX-R's)
-All Honda/Acura FWD vehicles permitted
If there is enough interest, I will also propose a novice/beginner class race (for each day) with limited modifications permitted.
