My question is simple yet it has been asked many times, and i cant get a true answer.

Will the Magic Slide PS2 Converter work with japanese games? (like gt4 proluge or Initial D)

And can i just use the disc i bought instead of making a copy?

I just need those answers and ill be happy.

That sounds a bit too good to be true...
 
i promise it works, all it does is bypass the boot process where it checks for the region by using the boot disk. then you just put any import in and it loads right up.
 
Yes, yes, it works. I use the discs with the flip-top but I've heard from many people that the slide card works fine as well. You just need to be careful using it as it could damage your PS2. And why is it too good to be true? You're just playing an import game, no big deal.
