I can can attest the ES 350 is quite hot, as I've been inside them on 100-degree days.

Bang on the money with that one.
Whether you like it or not (and my God, I do), just....wow.

Now I am well aware that some members will tell me that it weighs more than a Land Rover (I can think of a few who've Doug me into a hole in this arguement before) but just look at it.

...No matter which way you have it, simply sex on wheels... Some of my favorite cars in recent memory, the kind dreams are made of...

Are these lists simply every vehicle in each category which debuted for 2007?

Bleah, at least half of the cars on those lists don’t belong there – the “Sedans” list is particularly screwed up. (And Hottest Hybrids? Are you sheeting me?)

Are they limiting these cars to cars whose debut was model year 2007?

[edit]: What Doug said (that’s what I get for opening a tab and replying half an hour later).

No SUV is hot. Unless they mean likely to sell.

I didn't put them together, but one quick glance and it's pretty clear they aren't.

People go on about this car, but ive seen a couple in london now and quite frankly they dont seem to turn heads at all like its AM brother. I think certain details just ruines the whole cars lines.

I know my head would turn if I found one, but I don't find this car to be too striking either. The styling just doesn't seem very agressive, and maybe a bit too feminine, like the old SLK. Astons are amazingly styled cars that only get better the more you look at them. Almost any car would lose a looks battle to one.

I've not only seen them on the road, but also at the various car shows I went to in February, and I can't think of too many brand-new cars that look that damn good and catch my attention that easily. It is the subtle sexyness that makes the car so appealing, and so interesting to look at in almost any angle.

...And don't get me started on the interior. Absolutely awesome...

But, different strokes for different folks I suppose. I honestly can't be made at your opinion...

Maybe its because im spoilt being around ferraris, lambos and aston martins all day.

I'm not sure what kind of difference that would make. I grew up and still live in a pretty wealthy area of Michigan, and although Ferraris and Bentleys aren't uncommon in my hometown, it doesn't mean that I write them off as "regular" cars. They are cool to see, Jaguars included, and that I like best are the little surprises you see every once in a while. Vintage Esprits, Ferrari 355s, Gen 1 Dodge Vipers, '67 Corvette Stingrays, Rolls-Royce Phantoms, etc...

My passion from Jaguar I suppose comes from the fact that they are kinda like the "everyman's" Aston Martin. Sure, they may not be "special" in your mind, but they look good, perform surprisingly well, and overall push-fourth an attitude in which I do not see often in some cars today.

You see the guy in the Ferrari, what do you think?
How about the guy in the Porsche?

...Now compare that with the guy in the Jaguar?

Generally speaking, I think I've got a bit more respect for the guy in the XK.

I love it when Forbes does stuff that isn't about business, because it is usually trash. Bentley Continental? A Sports car? The lol smilie doesn't do that justice.

Prejudice much?

My opinion is probably best of Ferrari/Porsche coupe drivers, then XK coupe drivers, and lastly Ferrari/Porsche/XK convertible drivers. Though thats just me, and im probably at fault too.

You have more respect for a guy in a Jaguar than a guy in a Ferrari or Porsche?

Lets put it this way; I'm more likely to think better of the guy in the Jaguar than the two in the Ferrari or Porsche. Why? To be honest even I'm not completely sure. Probably some issues with how much money they have and how they chose to flaunt it, particularly the guy in the Ferrari...

...But I do realize that I'm overgeneralizing just a bit, and that even it I had that much money, chances are that I'd have at least one Ferrari, Porsche, Corvette, Viper, etc AND a Jaguar or two.

Meh. I was supposed to come up with some grand statement about how money isn't everything, and that having a cool car doesn't necessarily make you cool, but as adults I think we're supposed to know that already...

Until then, Jaguar XK it is!

I agree on the R63 though....I like the odd AMGs:D .....they have a silver one back in the corner of my local Benz dealer in Laguna Niguel. They have all the R-classes lined up in the back and the only way you can spot the R63 is by its front air dam and the hood is slightly larger. I feel like the only one in America that likes wagons. The E63 is just as cool too. My family has an SRT-8 Magnum wagon and a 55' Chevy two-door wagon that is going to be built into a 60's gasser.:)

If they are, there's a couple of cars there that shouldn't be. I know for a fact that SOP (start of production) for the M Roadster was 2/06 as a 2006 model (mine is an 7/06--MY06). Coupes were 5/06 also as MY'06s.

But Forbes probably figured it was 'close enough' to be 'new for 2007'.

I think everything else had a refresh or is all new for '07.

People dont get respect from me based on the car they drive.
