Hey anyone with a force feedback wheel, or spacificaly the Logitech Driving Force for PS2, check and see if you get this same symptom. At any point during racing or qualifying, pull over to a off line spot that is relitivly flat and stop, shift down to 1st and hold your foot on the brake. Now with your wheel centered, turn it to one direction say 45' and then let go. Does it self center and stop or does it ocsilate back and forth on its own?
I have had re-occuring symptom of loose wondering steering and tonite it came back hard. I was in a series with a JGTC NSX and for the first 4 races it was like on rails. Than all of the sudden the car wont handle. I did the above and it will sit there and shimmy back and forth for as long as I let it. If I un/re-plug the USB it resets and it wont do it for a while, you get a nice tight feel on the wheel center and if you yank it and let go it centers and stops. Then I do a lap or 2 and stop and its back to shimmy time.

Sorry if this is not correct forum but I didn't see any hardware stuff and need to see if I should exchange my wheel.

:D Have had NUMEROUS glitches w/this wheel, but not as often as you do. Try plugging the Transformer for the wheel into a seperate outlet from your PS2. Got this from a reliable person @ this Forum but haven't tried it myself. Let me know how you make out...UB57

it does it because the feedback is so strong it throws it self too far and so on. and has anybody have have this happen, when you'r raching or driving it like locks as in you have no input and you have to un plug it and plug it back in the ps2?
