Force Feedback on DF:GT Getting weaker?

Hello everyone, i Purchased a DF:GT in July for GT5, and other games and it has been a blast. But ever since ive been racing with it, I've been noticing that every time i turn it on (it spins by itself) the noise that it makes is getting higher and higher pitched. I have also significantly noticed a reduce in the force feedback.

Does anyone know if i was still working it in? Or maybe I could have turned the wheel to fast, and broke it?

If anyone know, that would be awesome.

I know mine makes the high pitched noise if I turn it too fast. I've had mine for a year now and it still works fine from playing GT5 Prologue and GT5. You can adjust the force feedback if you want as well under Options at the main menu.
